Roller Coaster Home Prices
Posted by pfitz under Technology
Here’s a TERRIFIC use of available technologies to illustrate a concept. Someone has take the housing prices from 1890 to the present, adjusted them for inflation, plotted the chart, and then used Rollercoaster Tycoon to make a rollercoaster ride version of the chart. GREAT idea. And kinda scary to see how much it fluctuates AFTER adjusting for inflation. And how stinkin’ expensive it is right now.

And thanks to Dave at 2 Cents Worth for finding this!

It would have been useful to see the years go by as the ride progressed so that we could easily see when the rises and dip happened. Otherwise, a graph works better.
Nice idea, though. Very creative.
